How long do mushroom gummies take to kick in, and how long do they last?

Off Grid Mushroom Gummies take 45–60 minutes to kick in, peak at 2–3 hours, and land softly by 4–6 hours. Tablets arrive sooner (20–30 minutes, 3–5 hours total); Trippy Sticks arrive within minutes and fade in 2–3 hours. First time: half a gummy, then wait the full hour before deciding on more.

Colors feel richer

Conversation flows without effort. Shadows stretch as the sky turns layered. Best spent outside, with people you like.

The world feels more vivid while you stay steady. Sound carries differently. Keep water close and snacks closer.

Why gummies take longer

A gummy has to be digested before it reaches you, so a full stomach, your metabolism and whether you ate recently all move the window. Forty-five minutes is typical; an hour is common; longer happens. That lag is exactly why people take a second gummy too early — and why the only rule that matters is to wait the full hour.

What changes the timing

Eating first smooths the onset and the landing. Taking it on an empty stomach makes it faster and bumpier. Splitting a gummy in half (150 mg) doesn’t make it arrive sooner — it only makes the afternoon lighter.

The first rung

First time: half a gummy, one serving of a tablet (a quarter, about 150 mg), or one or two draws on a stick. Then wait the full window — 60 minutes for gummies, 30 for tablets, 15 for sticks — before deciding on more. You can always take more; you can’t take less. The format comparison is in the Field Guide.

Questions people ask

Can I speed it up?

Not with a gummy. If you want the shift sooner, that is what the tablets (20–30 minutes under the tongue) and sticks (minutes) are for.

It’s been an hour and I feel nothing. Should I take another?

Give it one more half hour, especially after a big meal. If you still feel nothing at 90 minutes, add half a gummy — not a whole one.

Will I be fine for work tomorrow?

Most explorers describe a calm, clear evening after a 4–6-hour arc. Don’t drive until tomorrow. Everyone is different; start low.

Does the flavor change the timing?

No. Peach, Blue Razz, Strawberry and Watermelon carry the same 300 mg and the same onset; only the taste differs.
